Just a quick note of thanks for such a great product. Your antennas are a piece of art. I was amazed to find solid aluminum components and precision machining when I opened the box. The kits assembled in minutes with no problem whatsoever. The best part though is the performance. I am a new ham and have only a 2M/70cm/23cm Standard 568a, HT. Using that HT with 2.5 watts out, I can hit repeaters up to 70 miles away with your 2M Yagi. The 440 version works just as well ! I have received nothing but positive reception reports using the antennas. |
| I was looking at the web page tonight and saw a lack of comments on the146-4S. Two years ago, the Denton County Amatuer Radio Club installed a 146-4S in phase with a DB224 to provide a keyhole pattern for APRS coverage. The antenna has complemented our APRS coverage as desired. The antenna is located at 320 ft above ground level and has no protection from the wind. Winds in excess of 60 mph have been measured during severe weather events in north Texas. The 146-4S is one of the best structurally built antennas I have used. Regards, |
