Thanks so much for sending the 146-3 portable Yagi to me so quickly. I used my new Arrow Yagi last night to participate in a net held every Tuesday night on a repeater on the island of Molokai, this 2 meter net is quite interesting because hams from all the different islands participate in it. Most other nets do not get check ins from other islands. Anyway I took the elevator to the 34th (penthouse) level of the building I live in here in Honolulu (actually Aiea, an outer lying suburb of Honolulu) and was able to get into the Molokai repeater net with only 5 watts. Everyone commented on how good my signal was and inquired about my antenna. I am unable to get into this particular repeater with my cubical quad antenna from my condo on the 7th floor, even at high power (50 + watts) unless conditions are just right (ducting), so I was very pleased to be able to participate using my new Arrow Antenna.
